Last updated:
Impressions measure how many times your ad was displayed to Amazon shoppers. Each time your ad appears on a search results page or product detail page, it counts as one impression.
Understanding Impressions
Impressions ≠ Views
- An impression means your ad loaded on the page
- It doesn't mean the shopper saw it
- Above-the-fold impressions are more valuable
Why Impressions Matter
Reach
More impressions = more shoppers seeing your brand
Share of Voice
Impressions ÷ Total category impressions = Your visibility
Funnel Top
Impressions → Clicks → Conversions
Without impressions, nothing else happens.

| Budget | Low budget limits daily impressions |
| Relevance | Amazon shows relevant ads more often |
