| Shurq MCP | Amazon Ads MCP Server | |
|---|---|---|
| Who runs it | Shurq, as a hosted service. | Amazon Ads, which builds, maintains and updates it.[2] |
| Status | Available to Shurq Pro customers. | Open beta, announced 2 February 2026.[1] |
| Amazon Ads coverage | Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display: campaigns, keywords, search terms, placements, bids and budgets. | Campaigns, performance metrics, billing and account information.[2] Campaign queries cover Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Television and Amazon DSP.[5] |
| Amazon Marketing Cloud | Not included. | Included: ad-hoc SQL queries on AMC.[6] |
| Seller Central data | Included: profit after Amazon fees and cost of goods, orders, inventory and Brand Analytics. | Not described in Amazon's documentation, which covers Amazon Ads data.[2] |
| Changes it can make | 29 write actions, including bids, budgets, pausing, negative keywords, keywords and audiences. | Creating, updating and deleting campaigns, plus other Ads objects such as targets and bids.[1][5] |
| Before a change runs | Shurq shows a preview and waits for your confirmation in the chat. Unconfirmed previews expire after 5 minutes. | We did not find a server-side confirmation step in Amazon's documentation, so your AI client's own approval settings are the check. Its one-shot campaign tool produces a campaign that “only needs review and approval”. [1] |
| What you need to connect | A Shurq Pro account with your Amazon accounts connected. No Amazon developer application. | “An approved application with access to the Amazon Ads API” and a Login with Amazon client ID.[4] |
| Setup in Claude | Paste the server URL and sign in. Shurq registers Claude automatically, so there is no client ID or secret to enter. | Enter your client ID and secret under Advanced settings, and add Claude's callback URL to your Login with Amazon security profile.[4] |
| Endpoint | One URL for every region and all 21 supported marketplaces: https://mcp.shurq.com/mcp | Separate North America, Europe and Far East URLs. Amazon notes they “are not region agnostic”.[3] |
| Cost | Included with Shurq Pro at $200 a month, with a 30-day free trial and no credit card required. | Amazon says there are “no additional fees from Amazon Ads to use the API”.[7] The MCP pages we checked list no separate price. |
| AI clients named | Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients that support remote servers. | Claude, ChatGPT, Amazon Kiro, Amazon Bedrock and Amazon AgentCore[2], with Gemini also named in the announcement.[1] |
| Tools | More than 1,000. | Amazon does not publish a total. |
When Amazon's server is the better fit
- You run Amazon DSP, Sponsored Television or Amazon Marketing Cloud. Amazon's server covers them.[5][6] Shurq's MCP server does not.
- You are an agency or developer with an approved Ads API application and want to build your own agents on tools that Amazon maintains.[2][4]
- You only need advertising data and do not want another subscription. Amazon charges no additional fees to use the Ads API.[7]
When Shurq's server is the better fit
- You judge advertising by profit, so Claude needs Amazon fees, cost of goods and inventory next to ad spend.
- You do not have an Ads API developer application and do not want to register one.
- You manage several Amazon accounts or marketplaces and want one URL and one sign-in for all of them.
- You want every change previewed and confirmed in the chat before it reaches Amazon.
Setup takes a few steps in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code. See how to connect Amazon Ads and Seller Central to Claude.

Can Amazon's Ads MCP server see my Seller Central profit, fees or inventory?
Its documentation describes Amazon Ads data: campaigns, performance metrics, billing and account information. It does not describe Seller Central data such as orders, fees or inventory. Source: advertising.amazon.com/API/docs/en-us/mcp/mcp-overview, checked 27 September 2026.
Is Amazon's Ads MCP server free?
Amazon says there are no additional fees from Amazon Ads to use the Ads API, and the MCP pages we checked list no separate price. To connect, you need an approved Ads API application and a Login with Amazon client ID. Shurq's MCP server is included with Shurq Pro at $200 a month. Sources: advertising.amazon.com/about-api and advertising.amazon.com/API/docs/en-us/mcp/oauth, checked 27 September 2026.
Do I need an Amazon Ads API developer account to use Shurq's MCP server?
No. You connect your Amazon accounts to Shurq once, then add https://mcp.shurq.com/mcp as a custom connector in Claude and sign in with your Shurq login.
Can I connect both to Claude?
Yes. Both are remote MCP servers that Claude can add as custom connectors. Anthropic limits Claude Free plans to one custom connector, so using both at once needs a paid Claude plan.
